Meet Cher Lloyd: the new Cheryl Cole

Watch out Cheryl Cole...there's a new girl on the block after your style queen crown.

X Factor star Cher Lloyd may only be 17 but she's already giving the Girls Aloud star a run for her money in the style stakes.

With her long, flowing L'Oreal-worthy locks, her armful of tattoos and her khaki workwear, it's not hard to see where Cher gets her fashion inspiration from.

'I admire Cheryl's fashion, her looks and I even have a tattoo of a musical note like hers on my hand,' giggles Cher.

'I'm not even old enough to have a tattoo, but I have three. I know it's naughty. It's funny when people say I look like her - we're different, but I'll take it as a compliment.'

Joe: I'm Backing

LAST year's X Factor champ Joe Elderry is backing Gamu Nhengu and Cher Lloyd to win the new series.
The 19-year-old said he's been watching the current run of the ITV1 show closely and has already got his favourites.

Talking about who has stood out for him so far, Joe said: "I'm liking Gamu, I think she's really good, and Cher, I think, is going to be really interesting in the live shows."

And, talking to STV, he admitted he feels sorry for the hopefuls because the audition process is so tough.

He added: "It's really nerve-wracking watching it though, I just feel for them so much. You can just see how nervous they are in their eyes, and you try so much to hide it and you can't. At Boot Camp stage, you're so nervous."

This weekend the 32 remaining acts will perform at judges' houses to battle it out for a place in the final 12.

X Factor 2010: Joe McElderry backs Cher Lloyd and Gamu Nehngu

Former X Factor winner Joe McElderry, has already found has his favourites from this year’s series of the show.

The 19 year old singer is preparing to launch his debut album, ‘Wide Awake’ along with it’s lead single ‘Inspiration’ and in a promotional appearance on STV, he told Pop Idol star Michelle McManus that he has been following the current series of the ITV show very closely. On who has stood out for him so far, Joe said:

“I’m liking Gamu, I think she’s really good, and Cher, I think is going to be really interesting in the live shows.”

He also admitted that feels sorry for the hopefuls, as he knows how terrifying the audition process can be. Joe added:

“It’s really nerve-wracking watching it though, I just feel for them so much. You can just see how nervous they are in their eyes, and you try so much to hide it and you can’t. At Boot Camp stage, you’re so nervous.”

Cher Lloyd, Rebecca Ferguson And Katie Waissel Rumoured To Be X Factor 2010 Live Final Girls

Cher Lloyd And Rebecca Ferguson Likely To Reach Finals Comfortably
Cher Lloyd was thought to not only be the clear pick of the girls but also of the entire X Factor line up but things have quickly changed over boot camp. She is no longer the clear favourite but is still one of the favourites and she can be backed at a best price of 11/2 with Bet365 and VC Bet. Rebecca Ferguson could still end up the best of the girls though, plenty of punters have wanted to back her since boot camp and she is now a 6/1 chance with William Hill, although many bookies actually make her the second favourite currently. It is of little surprise that the rumours have these two picked to be in Cheryl’s final three.

CHER TO GO TO CHERYL’S HOUSE, CHLOE'S OUT

CHER Lloyd became one of the hot favourites to win the X Factor last night after wowing the judges on her way to the next round.

But call girl Chloe Mafia was axed from the hit TV show as pictures emerged of her apparently snorting cocaine.

The escort girl, 19, who arrived late for auditions nursing a hangover after an all-night drinking session, burst into tears before she was sent home.

Meanwhile, tiny brunette Cher, 17, will now sing for her idol Cheryl Cole at the judges’ houses stage of the contest, to be broadcast at the weekend. If she makes the grade she will go through to the live shows which start the following week.

Cher, of Malvern, Worcs, faces stiff competition from Madonna lookalike Katie Waissel, who already has a recording deal in the US.

The hair salon receptionist, 24, of Harewood, Herts, also made it through to the judges’ houses stage, despite saying her audition last night was “terrifying”. Other pop hopefuls who made it through last night included the group Twem – French twins Samir and Medhi who are this year’s answer to Jedward.

X Factor judge Cheryl will be making her eagerly-anticipated return to the singing contest on Saturday after contracting malaria earlier on in the series.

X Factor: Cher Lloyd and Aiden Grimshaw embark on secret romance

According to sources the teen singers have become ‘inseparable’ after falling for each other on the show.
X Factor contestants Cher Lloyd and Aiden Grimshaw are enjoying a secret romance – despite contestants being warned there are to be no relationships on this year’s show!

Simon has said that he's up for no nonsense this year, warning that there are to be no romances between acts, no drinking, no smoking and no bad behaviour.

But the pair, who reportedly met and fell for each other at Boot Camp, seem to have ignored him, and are said to be “inseparable”, seeking each other out whenever they get a spare moment away from rehearsals.

A source told Star magazine: “Cher had a crush on Aiden from the start but it took a few weeks for the feeling to become mutual.

“They are desperate to keep their romance a secret because relationships between contestants are really frowned upon in this series." The insider added: “Simon has laid down the law and insisted ther would be no girls in the boys’ rooms after dark, no relationships, no drinking, no smoking, no excessive noise and no bad behaviour.

“He has made it very clear that no one is bigger than the show and everyone is expendable, so if they break the rules they are out.”

Hmm, it seems that Miss Lloyd, 17, has chosen to ignore Cowell’s warnings however, as she’s also rumoured to have paired up with Liam Payne, 16, in the last few weeks. You can’t have them all young lady!

An amazing performance that Cher Did before the X Factor

I have just found an amazing video of Cher Lloyd performing a song before she auditioned for the x factor go onto the link below to see the performance >>

Cher has break down at Chez's

CHER Lloyd has admitted that Cheryl Cole had to wipe her tears away after she messed up her performance at judges' houses.
The X Factor favourite struggled with throat problems during an R Kelly song in front of her mentor and Will.i.am at the next stage of the contest, which will air at the weekend.

She burst into tears after her song went wrong.

Cher, 17, told X magazine: "Cheryl held me so tightly. I wiped the tears from her eyes and she wiped the tears from mine. I've never felt like that before."

But despite her problems she still gained the support of Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am.

He told Cheryl: "I really liked her. It seems she's a bit scared. But she's a pop star."

Meanwhile, guest judge Pixie Lott is also backing Cher.

She said: "Cher was wicked, wasn't she?"

The singer told the magazine Cher's performance was "so cool and unique", adding: "I think she could win the show."

Pixie Lott predicts X Factor winner

According to X magazine, the singer, who acted as a guest judge on the show this year, said that she was impressed with Cher Lloyd.

Lott said: "Cher was wicked, wasn't she?", describing the 17-year-old singer as "so cool and unique".

She also said: "I think she could win the show."

Cher Lloyd 'In Tears' At Cheryl's Judges Home

The X Factor favourite Cher Lloyd reportedly 'broke down in tears' when performing for girls mentor Cheryl Cole at the Judges' Houses stage of the competition.
The 17-year old, who made an impression on the Girls Aloud star when she sang Turn My Swag On at the Birmingham Auditions, struggled to sing an R Kelly song after losing her voice, leaving her in tears and apologising to the Promise This singer for her performance.
Cher is left to battle it out on Saturday's show against fellow contestants Gamu Nhengu, Kate Waissel and the remaining five girls for a place in Cheryl's top three.
Essex painter and decorator Matt Cardle has since replaced Cher as the favourite to take home the XF title, after he blew the judges away with his performances at Boot Camp.
Meanwhile, neighbours of the latest batch of XF finalists are reportedly 'living in fear' as the final 12 contestants move into their new home for the next few weeks.
The final 12, whose identities are yet to be revealed, have already moved into the £3.5 million property ahead of the live shows which are set commence on 9th October, with residents nearby apparently 'less than happy' with the rowdy bunch.
The XF wannabes neighbours are allegedly worried that their once tranquil neighbourhood will become chaotic when fans from all over the country descend upon the North London cul-de-sac to catch a glimpse of their idols.
A source told the Daily Mail: "The residents are upset as there is already some disruption with camera crews coming and going – and the live shows have not even started yet"
"This is a very exclusive and private road and people are worried that fans will swarm the close once they find out the finalists are here."
Another resident added: "People around here won't stand for that, I can tell you. We’re not that impressed that the X Factor is on our doorstep."

CHER LLOYD’S BEST ODDS TO WIN 2010 X FACTOR ARE AT BET365

We’ve been scouring the internet to track down the best odds on X Factor sensation Cher Lloyd and, while Matt Cardle looks the across the board betting favourite, it looks like a significant amount of volume is going onto the young songstress from Worcestershire.

The majority of bookmakers are pricing Cher Lloyd’s odds to win X Factor at 5/1 but you can help yourself to another half a point by locking in a wager at popular bookmaker Bet365. They are boasting odds of 11/2 on Cher Lloyd to win X Factor and that means a £100 wager would reward a massive £650, including your original stake.

With so many competitors at long odds for this one, you know that Lloyd’s odds will tighten up as we get down to the final ten competitors. With the amount of buzz already circulating around Cher Lloyd you know that she isn’t going to be eliminated early on. In all honesty, she is likely one of the chief reasons why Cheryl Cole is the favoured winning judge this time out.

Matt Cardle is trading at a 3/1 price with most major bookmakers while New Direction/1 Direction have just seen a massive price cut at Bet365 and they’re trading at a 4/1 price at the moment. They are still available at 7/1 with William Hill at the moment.

Gamu Nhengu is trading at 6/1 with Bet365 and 9/2 with William Hill. Rebecca Ferguson is looking competitive and she’s trading at a 5/1 price tag.

Aiden Grimshaw looks like the only other contestant with a chance at this point with an 8/1 price. The next best-priced contender is Katie Waissel is at 14/1 with Bet365.

X Factor's Cher Lloyd is 'wicked', says Pixie Lott

Cher, who's in Cheryl Cole's group for the judges' house round, has received praise from a number of celebs for her performances so far on the reality TV show.
She impressed mentor Chezza with her rendition of Soulja Boy's Turn My Swag On in the auditions, then pleased some of the X Factor judges with her version of Viva La Vida by Coldplay at bootcamp.
Keri Hilson and Holly Willoughby have both backed Cher to win and now, Mama Do singer Pixie's joining in the praise.
The 19-year-old singer, who appeared as a guest judge on the show over the summer, said: 'Cher was wicked, wasn't she?'
She told X Magazine the 17-year-old's performance was 'so cool and unique', adding: 'I think she could win the show.'
Cher's not had the best of luck since first appearing on this year's X Factor.
During bootcamp, she was plagued by a sore throat and concerns have been raised about her wellbeing after she was snapped looking more frail than usual.
Last weekend, the uncle of the young wannabe died suddenly, reportedly leaving her devastated.
