Tinie Tempah backs Cher Lloyd

Tinie Tempah is backing Cher Lloyd in 'The X Factor'.

The 'Written In The Stars' rapper said although he's been most impressed with Cher in the reality show, but fears she is in too fragile a state to compete in the show.

Tinie told BANG Showbiz: "I've not watched much 'X Factor' at the moment, but I have seen Cher Lloyd and I want her to win."

Cher - who looks much like her mentor on the show, Cheryl Cole - has gained much support from the UK's hip hop community for her song choices, with have included a remix of 'Turn My Swag On' by rapper Soulja Boy featuring singer Keri Hilson, complete with rapped verses.

The rendition was even given the seal of approval by the artist himself, who posted a link to it on his twitter page and wrote "Bless this girl's heart".

American star Keri meanwhile wrote: "She def turned her swag on and Simon liked? I approve!"

Vocal coach Savan Kotecha says Cher Lloyd ‘could sell records’

X Factor vocal coach has heaped praise on finalist Cher Lloyd, saying that she has the potential to be a real star.

The song writer, who has previously worked with show stars Alexandra Burke, Leona Lewis, JLS and American Idol winner Carrie Underwood, raved about the 17 year old singer/rapper saying:

“Cher is so focussed. She could sell records.”

Savan also admitted that many of this year’s contestants could go on to be huge stars saying:

“This year’s bunch is pretty amazing. I’ve worked with winners from past years but this year they have proper artists. Some of them could go straight into the market.”

However Kotecha admitted that he and fellow coach Yvie Burnett do sometimes get stressed, trying to help the finalists adapt their songs.

He said: “Sometimes, the music you like is not what you should sing.”

X Factor’s Cher Lloyd Makes NME’s Annual ‘Cool List’

Yes, you heard right. Cher Lloyd has been included in NME’s annual ‘Cool List’.

The 17 year old rapper/singer who is on of the favourites to win the hit ITV1 show has been awarded a spot at number 66.

It was a surprise addition however NME backed up the choice by saying Cher is relevant and in-touch with exciting breaking music cultures”. Speaking about her audition performance of ‘Turn My Swag On’, he added: “Watching her ‘do her thang’ in front of monsieurs Walsh and Cowell’s dropped jaws genuinely felt a bit subversive and special.”

X Factor's Mary Byrne tries to keep up with trendy Cher Lloyd and Sophia Wardman in leopard print

As Cher, 17, teamed her skinny print jeans with black boots, a vest top and a velvet embellished jacket, Sophia went for a rock chick look with harem-style trousers, an Iron Maiden T-shirt and an aviator-type fur jacket.

Cher: 'I was sick of being shoved around'

Cher Lloyd has claimed that she entered X Factor because she was sick of being "shoved around".

The 17-year-old singer also revealed that she was not going to let any of her critics on the show bring her down.

Speaking in her video blog on the official ITV1 site, she said: "I went on the X Factor because I thought it was time for me to get out there and I was sick of being the one shoved in the corner. And now I ain't being shoved in the corner.

She continued: "I stay positive because I think if you start to think of all those negative things then it will just bring you down. And the people who are saying the negative things, if you react in the way that they want you to, then they are winning.

"I'm not prepared to let anyone bring me down and I'm very tough. I can take on anything that anyone's got to chuck at me... with a smile on my face."

X Factor star Cher wins through to next round

WITH Malvern’s X Factor sensation Cher Lloyd continuing to take the show by storm, her former performing arts teacher says she always knew she was destined to be a star.

Cher again wowed the judges and the voting public with an innovative performance of Jay Z’s Hard Knock Life to make it safely through to tomorrow’s (Saturday, October 23) third live show.

Her continued success comes as no surprise to Grace Elliott, who taught Cher at Dyson Perrins Sports College.

“I can remember her as far back as when she was in Year Seven and she has always been a little star,” she said. “She is just a natural performer and I am so glad that someone out there has noticed and given her this chance.”

She said Cher’s progress in the competition is the talk of the school.

“Everyone is following her progress quite intently,” she explained. “Cher’s success is an inspiration but that has always been the case since we first met her.

“We miss her at the school and we wish her every success.”

Cher’s performance last Saturday earned high praise from three of the four X Factor judges.

Simon Cowell told her: “I absolutely loved it. I see a future here, you are exciting and you take risks.”

Louis Walsh added: “You have a great attitude and swagger, you look like a little mini Cheryl (Cole), you look like a pop star.”

Cher’s mentor on the show, Cheryl Cole, said: “You look like a pop star, you sound like a pop star, your attitude is like a pop star, you are a pop star.”

Only Danni Minogue expressed any reservations, questioning the choice of song and saying she was less impressed than by Cher’s previous performance.

“Tonight it just didn’t work for me,” she said.

Cher’s father Darren, who again watched his 17-year-old daughter from the audience at The Fountain Studios in Wembley, said: “It was very good and I was extremely proud.”

N-DUBZ RAPPER DAPPY WANTS TO PERFORM WITH CHER

N-Dubz star Dappy has said that he's loving Cher on the X Factor and that he would like to perform with her after the competition.

X Factor 2010 star Cher Lloyd already has famous rapper fans with N-Dubz star Dappy declaring that the group think she's great.

The 23-year-old hip hop star said "We're absolutely loving The X Factor this year, especially Cher Lloyd," he said.

And the young rapper, real name Costas Dino Contostavlos, thinks the quirky contestant would be someone he would like to team up with.

He said: "Her performances have been really inventive. She's crazy and spontaneous, just like I am.

"Let's wait and see if we can do something together when she gets out of the show."

Cher Lloyd and One Direction 'already pop stars'

Teenager Cher has suffered from bad press ever since reaching the finals, but the crowd loved her performance of Hard Knock Life - complete with her now customary rap.

X Factor's Cher Lloyd is the future, according to Simon Cowell (PA)
Louis Walsh told her the choice of song was a big risk, but one that had paid off because of her attitude and swagger.

'I absolutely love the fact that you're doing what you like and you look like a pop star,' he said.

Simon Cowell echoed those thoughts and said he could see 'the future' in Cher, while Cheryl Cole went even further over the top in her praise.
.'You look like a pop star, you sound like a pop star, you dress like a pop star - you are a pop star,' she said.

Dannii Minogue provided the voice of reason and admitted she didn't think Cher's performance had really worked.

The judges also loved One Direction's version of My Life Would Suck Without You - and the screams suggested the teenage girls in the audience were equally appreciative.

Louis didn't like Simon's choice of song, but as a man who knows about successful boy bands, he liked what he saw and heard.

'Every schoolgirl up and down the country will love this band,' he claimed.

Simon added: 'You are in my opinion, the most exciting pop band in the country today. There is something absolutely right.'

The X Factor supremo had even bigger goals in sight for Diva Fever after their bizarre performance of Boney M's Gotta Go Home.

'I think that record will be number one on Sunday,' Simon predicted.

Rebecca Ferguson found herself described as Liverpool's next big star after a superb performance of Feeling Good, while Louis Walsh dubbed Treyc Cohen a 'little Tina Turner' following her version of Purple Rain.

X Factor contestants to cover David Bowie song for charity

The 16 contestants including Cher Lloyd, Katie Waissel, Storm, One Direction, Mary Byrne, and Wagner will record a version of the classic track Heroes.

Cash raised from the song will go towards building recovery centres for wounded soldiers.

Bowie originally released the anthem in 1977 but the song only reached number 24 in the charts.

Taken from the album of the same name, Heroes is one of Bowie's best-known songs and tells the tale of two lovers who meet at the Berlin Wall.

The Sun reports that glam rock icon Bowie knows about the X Factor plans.

Last month Robbie Williams, Gary Barlow, Alexandra Burke, Pixie Lott, Plan B, James Blunt, and The Saturdays played a charity gig for Help for Heroes.

The X Factor contestants' cover of Heroes is out on November 7.

Cher Lloyd & Rebecca Ferguson Sparkle - Katie Waissel & Aiden Grimshaw Suck

With the ecstatic audience baying for more - and bowled-over judges still wildly cheering Mary Byrne's brilliant attempt to paralyse a great Dusty Springfield song, I quietly took my leave and nipped off to commit suicide.

Mary's version of "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me" is still ringing in my ears. Like tinnitus. She's got a good voice has Mary. If only she'd make an effort not to go round murdering songs that are even bigger than she is.

OK. I couldn't stay to listen to all of last night's show. A few of Simon's wannabe superstars drove me to the safety of a locked bathroom. But a few were pleasantly surprising. In a masochistic sort of way. Like watching a car crash.

Belle Amie got the plaudits from the judges for kicking the life out of the great Ray Davies classic 'You Really Got me". If you missed it, shut your eyes and dream up a teeny girl with lipstick version of the Kinks. Thankfully, it was relatively painless.

Wagner is the Ann Widdecombe of the X factor. I like Ann. I quite like Wagner. But not on TV. He'd have gone down a bundle at Butlins in the 1950s.

Now then. Squint-eyed Rebecca Ferguson. The girl who is too shy to stick her tits out. She was rather good tonight in her purple dress with her purple lips. She did Liverpool proud. At first I thought she'd become a tiny bit Eartha Kitt-enish. Which would have been great. But she let me down cos she hasn't yet got the bottle. But she had a good night!

Unlike Aiden Grimshaw. Ouch! This was a horror story. His performance, a major crime scene!

Dear Aiden tried to sing John Lennon's 'Jealous Guy'. In fact he did sing a version of John Lennon's 'Jealous Guy'. In the course of giving a decent impression of an epileptic fit.

When he wasn't having a fit he was squirming about so much, I was convinced he was about to wet himself.

An embarrassment to watch. Excruciatingly toe-curling!

Talking of John Lennon, it looked as if little Aiden had brought his mummy along to make sure his hair was just-so!

John Adeleye I liked.

I also thought One Direction were singing to the right audience in the right programme. Pretty young boys driving pretty young girls wild with desire!

Treyc. Oh dear. Nice voice. It's her arse. Anyone with a backside the size of Asia minor should try to avoid wearing a tight dress like that. In spite of the creepy Cowell compliments, the dress just made things worse. For a minute I thought I was in Shepherd's Bush Market!

Which leaves Cher.

I didn't like her last night.

Her voice was too weak..

All the same it was a star performance!

The only one.

Cher's great.

She's still my tip to win!

It's A Hard Knock Life !

Last night cher sang one amazing song ! i love it and i hope you do to ! it was an amazing performance by the 17 year old

X Factor stars covering David Bowie for hero soldiers

Finalists on the hit television talent show X Factor are teaming up to release a single to raise money for injured servicemen and women.

The 16 acts - including performers such as Cher Lloyd and Mary Byrne - will record a cover of the David Bowie record Heroes.

Proceeds raised from the song - which was originally released in 1977 - are to go towards the Help for Heroes charity.

It is set to hit shelves on November 7th and the funds generated through its sales will be utilised to help the organisation collect the £44 million it requires in order to build recovery centres to help the rehabilitation of wounded troops.

And according to the Sun, the release is "a dead certainty" to make its way to the top of the UK singles chart.

Members of staff at Romans Lettings recently took part in an exercise bike fundraiser and generated around £1,600 for the Help for Heroes cause.

"Cher Lloyd Sprinkled With Stardust" Claims Peter Andre

Rock Superstar and one time Ant'n'Dec Jungle contestant, Peter Andre, has come out to declare X Factor wannabe Cher Lloyd is a young star in the making.

In an interview with influential Sydney Magazine "Hi There", Andre takes time out to tell fans down-under that Cher is about to become the hottest young singer on Planet Earth.

"Cher Lloyd's got that elusive Wow Factor", declares Andre talking exclusively via a satellite link to X factor dominatrix Dannii Minogue.

"At this stage in Cher's development, she reminds me of a Super Nova exploding in Outer Space", adds Andre. "By next month she'll have grown into a comet. Come Christmas she'll have an entire Galaxy all to herself".

In a separate interview, Simon Cowell responded to Peter Andre's prediction:-

"That might well be the case", says Cowell. "But there's still plenty of time for Cher to go bang. Explode all over the TV studio. And suddenly turn herself into a very tiny 'Black Hole', he explained.

"Only time will tell whether we've another Cheryl Cole on our hands".

"Or just another X Factor
wannabe".

Cher Lloyd addicted to...Pauls Boutique bags!

Now the X Factor hopefuls are getting papped, we've noticed skinny minnie Cher has developed a bit of an obsession with Paul's Boutique bags, particularly the loud zebra printed one.

Want a slice of Cher's style before she hits the bigtime and is gifted with, erm, multi coloured monogram Louis Vuitton? Head to Toppers, hand over £60 and swing your PB with pride.

Get Cher Lloyd's beauty look!

That is, if you really want to, of course...

As The X Factor rolls on, its contestants are becoming bigger celebrities in their very own right, and are reaching the status where they can dish out advice about anything and everything, and we'll gladly take it.

Unsurprisingly, girls have turned to Cher Lloyd with her bold make-up and bouffant 'do for her very best beauty tips. Cher took some time out to answer this question in the weekly X Factor blog, and do you know what she said?

"Thanks for the question about how I do my hair and make up, I am gonna be dead straight, I just shove it on and hope for the best. If it is all down my face I just get a wipe and bob's your teapot, there you have it, hair and make up is done."

We don't know much about Bob's teapot, but the fact that she simply shoves it on doesn't surprise us TOO much...

However, we know there are some girls that will still be dying to achieve her look, and simply sighing in despair over just how vague her beauty tips really are.

So get your pink lipstick and false eyelashes at the ready, because beauty guru Sara Walker has done a step-by-step video tutorial...

This lady does have the added advantage of looking a bit Cher-esque as it is, but as much as we often tend to shy away from over-doing our make-up, the tutorial shows us how to get this bold look just right. Meaning a lower risk of disaster!

Will you be trying to get Cher Lloyd's beauty look, or are you more an advocate of au naturale? Comments, please...

A pocketful of dreams: The tattoo Cher Lloyd hopes will help her secure the X Factor title

She may be a bit on the young side to have them but controversial X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd already has three tattoos.
And as she left rehearsals yesterday ahead of this weekend's live show, the 17-year-old gave a glimpse of her usually hidden second inking.
Wearing a rolled-up checked shirt and cropped tracksuit bottoms, the Worcestershire teen's lengthy etching 'Bolsillo Lleno De Suenos' was clearly visible along her right arm.
The tattoo is Spanish for 'pocketful of dreams' - a lyric from the Jay-Z and Alicia Keys duet Empire State Of Mind.
Her ex-boyfriend Alex Wallis - who split from Cher in August - said: 'She doesn't speak Spanish, she just thought it looked pretty and loved that song.'
Her Spanish etching joins her two other tattoos - a music note on her left hand and a bow on her lower back - which she has yet to reveal in public.

Her mentor Cheryl Cole noticed the teen's music note design back at her original audition in June and commented that they both had tattoos in the same places.
Cheryl has a Polynesian Maori design on her left hand, which can look similar to a music note.
In a recent interview, Cheryl-lookalike Cher admitted she loves the comparisons between her and her idol.
Cher said: 'I admire her fashion, her looks and I even have a tattoo of a musical note like hers on my hand.
'I’m not even old enough to have a tattoo, but I have three. I know it’s naughty.

'It’s funny when people say I look like her – we’re different, but I’ll take it as a compliment.'
Despite Cher's three tattoos, British law states it is an offence to tattoo anyone under the age of 18 unless for medical reasons.
Meanwhile, Mrs Cole revealed her protegee is 'terrified' of the live shows and she really struggled to convince the wannabe to take to the stage following her negative press.
But Cher sailed through to the second live show after impressing the judges and public with her performance of Just Be Good To Me.

Video Time Cher :)

here is a video i found a news report on cher saying she had collapsed backstage and started screaming at people who went by, but as you would think that is just some made up story to see how cher would feel under presure. but we all no are cher is going to be just fine when they call her name as the winner in a couple of weeks time as the winner of x factor 2010

Pressure gets to skinny Cher

THE pressure seemed to be getting to skinny Cher Lloyd as she headed to a studio this morning.
The 17-year-old X Factor hopeful looked strained as she put her head in her hands on her way to rehearsals.

And Cher, who is being mentored by Cheryl Cole in the show, appeared thinner than ever.

The teen, from Malvern, Worcs, looked tiny in a pair of bright pink skinny jeans.

Last week thousands of X Factor fans reacted with fury after Cheryl put her through to the live rounds despite messing up her performance at judges' houses.

But the hip hop fan has one reason to smile - as she's got the backing of N-Dubz, who say they want to work with her.

Rapper Dappy told Zoo magazine: "We're absolutely loving The X Factor this year, and one girl in particular: Cher Lloyd. That girl is seriously gangster and has some sick swagger."

He added: "I read in a magazine she compares herself to a female version of me, and I take that as a massive compliment. She's crazy and spontaneous, so she's definitely like me.

"Team N-Dubz is right behind her to win. We'll have to see if we can do something together when she gets out of the show."

Meanwhile, another of Cheryl's acts, Katie Waissel, had a smile on her face today despite nearly getting the boot on Sunday night.

The blonde, who survived a sing-off with FYD, donned some dark-rimmed specs as she went out in Covent Garden.

Her mum Diana told The Sun today how she was worried about the backlash against her daughter after she and Cher edged out popular Gamu Nhengu from the live

X Factor 2010: Cher and Katie the pop stars in training look ready for their big moment as they arrive at studios ahead of first live show

If they are feeling nervous about tonight's live show then Katie Waissel and Cher Lloyd certainly know how to put on a brave face.
The X Factor finalists looked as though they didn't have a care in the world as they were snapped arriving at rehearsals in London today.
They flashed beaming smiles at the waiting cameras as they sipped on soft drinks and walked into the studio in Wembley where the live show will take place tonight.

Katie, 24, and 17-year-old Cher looked happy and relaxed as they arrived to prepare for the show on ITV tonight.
Arm-in-arm, the girls looked as though they have become quite close since making it through to the next round.
They are both in the same group of three girls - including Liverpudlian Rebecca Ferguson - being mentored by Cheryl Cole, so it's not wonder they have become friends.

They also took pictures of themselves and the waiting cameras on their mobile phones as they started to soak up the pop star treatment.
Cher also stopped to blow kisses at the cameras as she walked past.

They were even dressed to impress in their funky superstar attire, with Cher flaunting a pair of skinny pink jeans, a black leather jacket and on-trend over-the-knee boots.
