2010 X FACTOR LATEST BETTING ODDS FOR MATT CARDLE AND CHER LLOYD

There has been a slight reshuffling of the odds for the 2010 edition of X Factor but there aren't a huge amount of dramatic surprises aside from the fact that Cher Lloyd's price has dropped from 11/2 to 9/2 and that places her neck and neck alongside Gamu Nhengu and Rebecca Ferguson.
Matt Cardle's odds to win 2010 X Factor have also dropped slightly to a 5/2 margin and that's down from the 3/1 he was trading at for most of the week.
1 Direction can be backed at 11/2 and it's clear that they are definitely the group to beat at this point in time. Aiden Grimshaw is the only other genuinely competitive contestant with a 7/1 price being more or less unchanged from earlier in the week.
Katie Waissel is listed at 14/1 while former favourite Mary Byrne trades at 16/1 alongside Belle Amie and Nicolo Festa.
There are still some specials markets available on the show this year with Paddy Power and they've listed a 1/5 price on the X Factor winner to have the 2010 Christmas #1 single according to BBC Radio.
You can also lock in a 9/4 price on a live studio finalist to quit of their own accord and not return. That still seems plausible at this pint. Should one of the final twelve be accused of cheating and quit the show, you've got a 4/1 payout.
If Cheryl slaps Simon in the face during a live televised show, then you're only getting payed out at an 8/1 price. Simon Cowell is 10/1 to cry during any live performance.
SHOCK! X Factor favourite Cher Lloyd was suspended from school for catfight
X Factor favourite Cher Lloyd was once suspended from secondary school for getting into a fight with another girl.
The singer was ordered to stay at home for 3 days by heads at The Chase School in Malvern, Worchestershire, after the scrap.
But Cher, now 17, says the incident was blown out of proportion.
'She was suspended for a few days after a catfight at school,' an X Factor spokesman tells the Daily Record.
'She says she was the victim of bullying and was standing up for herself.'
Cher wowed the judges with the feisty Keri Hilson version of Turn My Swag On by Soulja Boy in her audition and is now a bookies' favourite to win the show.

‘Hysterical’ Cher Lloyd worries X Factor team

X Factor staff were said to be concerned for the wellbeing of Cher Lloyd, after she lost her voice at judges houses and became hysterical with worry about her performance.
The 16 year old from Malvern in Worcestershire was first seen impressing Cheryl Cole, Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Natalie Imbruglia at her initial audition, when she sang Turn My Swag On by Soulja Boy. On Sunday’s bootcamp show, Cher wowed Nicole Scherzinger with her original take on Coldplay’s Viva La Vida.
She sailed through to Cheryl Cole’s judges houses group, but soon began suffering from vocal strain and sources say that she spent ‘most of Friday night crying and moaning’ about her performance for Cole and Will.i.am.
An insider told The Mirror:
“All of the girls were sharing rooms and were coupled up together.
“Cher was supposed to be sharing with Katie Weissel but she spent most of Friday night crying and moaning because she was so nervous.
“There were a lot of tears from all the girls and then Cher started to lose her voice and she got even more hysterical. In the end she had to be moved from the others to calm her down.
“But this is just the beginning of the show really, and if Cher wants to win she needs to learn how to cope.”
Cher sparked similar concerns at bootcamp, when it was noticed that she was rarely eating and seemed terrified by the whole experience. At the time, a source told The Daily Mail:
‘Everyone was worried about Cher, she was extremely nervous and shaking at some points.
‘She is quite bolshy on stage, but she sat by herself at lunch. She didn’t eat much and looked frail and vulnerable as she was accompanied by a member of production.
‘If she gets through to the live shows next month – which she is a shoo-in for – she will have to be given a bit of extra special attention. She is very young.’

X Factor 2010: Simon Cowell allows Cher Lloyd to date Aiden Grimshaw!
Simon Cowell has denied reports that he placed a sex ban on his X Factor contestants.
Insiders had recently suggested that the show boss ordered hopefuls on the ITV show, to refrain from embarking on relationships with one another, though many suggested that teenagers Aiden Grimshaw and Cher Lloyd had ignored his ruling.
Cowell denied the rumours, telling Metro that while there is ‘some sort of control in there’, the contestants should be ‘making noise, having fun and going out’.
‘And I can’t tell people when they can and can’t have sex.’
‘They are entering the music business for all the right reasons, and that is not to sit in the library till three in the morning,’ he added.
This may turn out to be great news for Cher and Aiden, who have become ‘inseparable’ since they met at bootcamp.
A source told Star magazine:
“Cher had a crush on Aiden from the start but it took a few weeks for the feeling to become mutual.
“They are desperate to keep their romance a secret.’
